The program 10 week program Mindful People At Work – Mindfulness INTRO has been carried in a multi-national environment for one year , both in English and Spanish, with face to face and online LIVE formats. Participants were more than 220 coming from more than 30 countries, from September 2019 to July 2020.

Why mindfulness in enterprises and organizations?
Mindfulness is a qualitative different attention to the everyday attention that usually acts in “automatic pilot”.
Full awareness and attention in enterprises and organizations allows us to disconnect from past and future and be simply in the present moment, enjoying and managing it with more resources. Being more efficient in our everyday tasks, aware about our own inner resources, thoughts, emotions, sensations and impulses.
Programs such as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) have gathered scientific evidence in the treatment of stress, anxiety, depression and other psychological discomforts. Currently mindfulness based programs are applied with success in work, educational and health environments.
Organizations are made of people that inter-relate together to achieve a common objective.
The psychological and physical benefits that full awareness or mindfulness brings have positive effects in all social aspects of the practitioner, including the professional one.

Mindful People At Work Program
Mindful People at Work programs include official mindfulness programs such us MBSR and other own-created Mindfulnes Based Interventions (MBI), 6 – 10 week protocols based on well recognised and established programs such as MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), CCT (Compassion Cultivation Training) and MSC (Mindfulnes and Self-Compassion).

To whom is meant?
Mindful People at Work Program is aimed for organizations, enterprises and their employees, that would like to introduce mindfulness practice in order to improve their general well-being and work awareness.
Objectives
- Develop body awareness and kindness towards own body
- Learn to breath and anchoring to find in oneself a place for calm and safety
- Learn to stop and respond at work instead of reacting. Increase the control of impulses.
- Learn to listen to oneself and listen to others
- Develop frustration tolerance and stress management
- Develop cognitive flexibility. Learn to respond to present situations.
- Learn to identify and regulate thougths and emotions
- Identification of unconscious biases in the work context
- Develop an attitude of kindness and appreciation to oneself and others
- Develop mental clarity (creativity) in the present moment
Mindful People At Work Pillars
Mindful People At Work is based in 3 pillars which are worked along the different sessions
Attention and Concentration Through simple practices such as breathing attention, attention to sounds and body sensations. A higher concentration and attention climate will be stimulated, bringing immediate benefits to the team and the perso, contributing to relaxation and own awareness, which in a continuous manner reduces stress symptoms. This pillar sets the basis for the two coming ones. |
Auto-regulation and emotional management We will train the capability to manage and regulate thoughts and emotions, developing conscious and adaptive emotional responses vs automatic emotional reactivity. We will do exercises for managing change, stress and anxiety in an adequate way. |
Kindness and inter-personal relationships We will do exercises to increase our levels of kindness and intelligent empathy towards one-self and others. We will work listening skills and conscious communication, looking for a more positive and conscious leadership. |
Methodology
On-line LIVE or face to face formats, with “connect when you want” audio and video resources, using professional e-learning platforms and video conferencing tools. Full Turn-Key project.
This programs is implemented in groups with mostly an experiential and practical methodology (90%). From the practice experience we will work theoretical concepts related to Mindfulness.
The aim is to be able for the participants to integrate mindfulness in their daily lives, through practice and group discussion.
We use active learning and we can include specific desired work objectives such as time management, diversity or unconscious biases.
We look for individual growth through group collaboration and development.
Each session will have a theme, the program evolves along the weeks using group exercises and practices during the session and during the week practices that participants will have to develop in between sessions. Practices are both formal (meditation) and informal (practices along the normal day). The participant will be required to do daily practices along the week with the resources done during the session.
After each session you will find in our e-learning platform all the necessary resources: weekly formal and informal practices, weekly audios for formal practices, practice log and readings or articles about the week theme.
The instructor will be guiding and supporting all participants along all process and length of the program, through the e-learning platform and e-mail to clarify and answer any questions.
